It is evolving on a major substantial evolution from its organization, management structure, and payment structure. The economic component of healthcare is equally important to better understanding the order to structure stature and is very successful. In this paper will be discussed the evolution of economics and the healthcare system and the healthcare funding timeline of structure. History and Evolution In 1865 the Freedmen’s Bureau started the first construction of healthcare reform. The government constructed over 40 hospitals and employed nearly 140 physicians. They started treating over one million sick and dying former slaves. This was the first start of healthcare and the first evolution. In 1912 President Theodore Roosevelt pushed and progressed for the U.S. to guarantee health insurance for all but he also lost. This was one the first actual established moments that had potential change to economics. Guaranteed health insurance for all would have changed the U.S. economically forever. In 1946 the National Mental Health Act was established and signed by President Truman. This means that it took nearly 30 years of healthcare progression for the next major health reform could start.
